October is where the fixture list stops being polite. A short international stretch comes first, then four straight Premier League matchweeks with nothing in between. For anyone signing up to Bet9ja this month, the promotion code is YOHAIG.

What you get for entering the code

Bet9ja puts a promotion code box on the registration form, and it gets skipped more often than you would think. Put YOHAIG in the field and the account picks up the welcome offer, which runs to a maximum of ₦100,000 based on what you deposit first. There is no way to apply it later, which is why the field matters at sign-up.

Nothing is charged for the code. It works on new registrations only, and there are rollover terms attached, as there are on every offer of this kind. Look at the conditions first so the bonus behaves the way you expect.

Sign up with the YOHAIG promotion code to claim up to ₦100,000 as a welcome bonus.

The Super Eagles close the international window

The Nations League plays two more rounds from the 1st to the 6th, and the clubs sit out until after that. The Super Eagles finish their break against Russia in Nizhny Novgorod on Tuesday 6 October. The kick-off time was still unannounced when this went up, so confirm it before you stake.

The club season returns on 10 October

Club football restarts on Saturday 10 October. Arsenal host Leeds United in the lunchtime slot, Manchester United meet Tottenham Hotspur that evening, and Liverpool against Manchester City follows at Anfield on the Sunday afternoon. The following weekend brings Everton against Chelsea, Newcastle United hosting Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest versus Arsenal on the Sunday evening.

Matchweek eight starts on Friday 23 October with Ipswich Town versus Nottingham Forest and peaks with Chelsea against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday evening. The final Saturday, 31 October, opens with Chelsea against Manchester United and ends with Aston Villa versus Fulham.

One thing hanging over the month: Manchester City have reportedly been found guilty on almost all of the 115 charges brought against them. No sanction had been confirmed when this was written. If anything lands mid-season it moves the title and relegation markets hard, so watch the news before you touch a long-range bet.

A timing note worth more than most tips

British clocks go back on Sunday 25 October and Nigeria does not move. Through to the 24th the two clocks match exactly. After that Sunday you add sixty minutes, which makes a 15:00 English kick-off a 16:00 start here.

Practical notes for October

•

• Fill the promo field while registering, since there is no way back to it. YOHAIG only works on the way in.

• Fix your October budget before the first matchweek lands. A month with no pause in it is where discipline slips.

Keeping up with the promo terms

Bonus terms in this market move, so it pays to read the live page rather than trust a screenshot from three months ago. The full breakdown of the bet9ja promotion code sits on bet9japromotioncode.com.ng, including what the welcome bonus requires.

October gives you Nigeria in Nizhny Novgorod, Anfield hosting Manchester City, and four matchweeks with no break in them. Stake to a budget you fixed before the month started.

Register today with the code YOHAIG and claim up to ₦100,000 as a welcome bonus.

New customers only, 18 and over, terms apply. Play responsibly.
